Summer’s most delicious food event is back! From July 5 to 21, Torontonians can enjoy prix fixe lunch and dinner menus from nearly 200 of the city’s most delicious restaurants. To help navigate these mouthwatering choices, we highlighted our top three dining destinations for Summerlicious 2019.
Miku Toronto

Best known as the pioneers of Aburi Sushi in Canada, this Japanese fine dining destination is participating in Summerlicious for the first time ever. For lunch, guests can enjoy Miku’s Signature Aburi Sushi plate, featuring its infamous Aburi Oshi selection. Exclusively on the dinner menu, guests can savour a delicate Saikyo Miso Baked Sablefish and Butter Poached Lobster Tail, or choose from the Confit Alberta Beef Short Rib or vegetarian-friendly Tamari Soy Glazed Cauliflower Steak. Northern Maverick Brewing Co. is an impressive restaurant-brewery with an expansive patio located on Bathurst, north of King West. Its fiercely local menu offers an elevated dining experience with dishes that pair well with its on tap, house beers. Maple Leaf Tavern
Toronto’s historic Leslieville tavern offers refined North American cuisine. Highlights of the Summerlicious menu include the juicy Striploin Cheeseburger or savoury Vegetarian Burger, along with new, seasonal menu items and robust main dishes such as Pastrami Smoked Short Rib and Sautéed Trout. Maple Leaf Tavern has also partnered with Häagen-Dazs to create an exclusive dessert: chocolate covered cookie dough and brownie ice cream bar with crushed caramel popcorn.
