BPR FOOD NEWS | MIKU TORONTO CELEBRATES ITS 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY

It has now been 2 years since Vancouver’s Aburi Restaurant Group travelled east, and opened Miku Toronto, bringing its Japanese cuisine and famous Aburi Sushi to Canada’s largest city. To celebrate this milestone, their talented chefs have curated a special fall-inspired 5-course tasting menu that will only be available from October 10-16. Learn more about each delicious dish, as we guide you through this exclusive culinary journey.

HASSUN

Served in Miku’s beautiful, handmade Arita porcelain box, this delectable multi-course comes complete with a Chef’s selection of Sashimi, Dashi Braised Kabu, Oyster with tomato horseradish mignonette, Kakuni Braised Short Rib and Chilled Seafood Nanban.

KAISEN

This next course features Miku’s Pan Seared Sea Bass with Lobster Tempura, accompanied by herb roasted cherry tomatoes, dashi butter leek, wasabi parsley coulis and saffron daidai cream.

SHUSAI

Following the Kaisen course, Miku will serve their Smoked Soy Roasted Quail, paired with with boudin blanc and foie gras, creamy roasted kabocha purée, pickled mustard seeds and maple vinegar braised red cabbage.

SUSHI

Make sure to save room for the next course, Miku’s signature Aburi Sushi with a selection of both traditional and Aburi style oshi, roll and nigiri sushi, paired with their signature sauces.

Dessert

Miku’s 2 year anniversary menu wouldn’t be complete without their Black Sesame Forest Cake that features valrhona dark chocolate mousse, black sesame cream and paired with pistachio ice cream.
