A favourite amongst vegan, gluten-free and healthy-option-seeking diners in Toronto, this meatless and wheatless restaurant chain has a variety of delicious vegan salads, bowls, sandwiches and soups that will satisfy any foodie. One of our favourites is the Oaxaca bowl, which features organic Mexican ingredients, tortilla chips, lime wedge with pico de gallo, guacamole and cashew cream – yum!

This Calgary “Ethical-Vegetarian” restaurant is truly one of a kind. The Coup offers breakfast, lunch and dinner made from products selected based on deep ecological ethics. From salads and bowls to buckwheat burgers, almost all of The Coup’s dishes are made from ingredients that are organic, local and made in-house.
This progressive establishment recycles all that can be, and only uses paper products that are post-consumer recycled – even the receipt paper is BPA & phenol free! The Coup plants 36 trees a month through Tree-Canada in order to off-set its waste. What more could we ask for?
